The Council has a duty to produce two
reports each year which account for improvement. The first
is a ‘forward look’ – our Corporate
Improvement Plan. This report sets out what our key priorities
for improvement are over the next three years and how we are
changing the way we do things to ensure we continuously improve the
services we deliver to you and your communities.
The second is the Annual Report and
it gives a ‘backward look’, accounting for our overall performance
during the last financial year.
The report identifies a wide range of improvements that we have
delivered over the year and reports on areas where
performance still needs to improve. It also provides statistical
information on the Council’s performance in delivering
