Action for Carers and Employment
Do you look after a relative or a child, a partner or a
friend aged 18 or over who needs your help because they are ill,
frail or have a disability?
Do you sometimes find it difficult to juggle working and
caring?
Do you need respite care to enable you to undertake
training to help you to return to work?
Swansea Neath Port Talbot Crossroads has a new project – ACE –
Action for Carers and Employment - which might be able to help.
The project is piloting services which ‘work around work’ and
aims to support Carers aged 16+ living in Swansea Neath Port Talbot
to remain in employment through the provision of respite care to
the person they care for. Support from the ACE project is available
free of charge.
