Dragon Sport in Neath Port Talbot

Dragon Sport is designed to offer 7-11 year olds fun and appropriate sporting opportunities.  There are 8 Dragon Sports – Athletics, Golf, Cricket, Tennis, Hockey, Netball, Rugby and Football.

In Neath Port Talbot, we work very closely with primary schools to support extra-curricular sports clubs.

Every primary school in Neath Port Talbot run Dragon Sport clubs. Contact your school to find out what times they run their clubs.

Dragon Sport is also available in some community sports clubs and leisure centres.  For more information of community Dragon Sport, please contact us.

We provide training and support to parents, teachers and volunteers who lead or help at Dragon Sport clubs.

Dragon Sport clubs promote fair play and are open to children of all abilities.

If you would like to be a Dragon Sport volunteer and help out at a Dragon Sport club, please contact Claire Sims on 01639 860121 or email: c.sims@npt.gov.uk

Who can enter?

  • Primary schools
  • Infant Schools
  • Junior Schools
  • Secondary Schools
  • Special Schools
  • Independent Schools

ActiveMarc Cymru is not designed to identify schools with the best facilities. The focus is on quality provision and high standards.
