Trading Standards Service

The Trading Standards Service, which is part of Social Services Health and Housing is primarily a consumer protection and fair trading enforcement service. We are a major regulatory service dealing with a wide range of U.K. and European legislation relating to the quality, quantity, price, description and safety of goods and services. By enforcing this legislation we can help protect the interests of Neath and Port Talbot consumers and businesses trading fairly.

The aim of Neath Port Talbot Trading Standards is to encourage and maintain a fair and safe trading environment to benefit residents, businesses and visitors to Neath and Port Talbot.
