Enforcement Policy
The purpose of this policy is to secure efficient compliance
with legislation while minimising the burden to the Council,
individuals, organisations and businesses.
Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council’s Directorate of Social
Services, Health and Housing is responsible for the enforcement of
Environmental Health and Trading Standards Legislation, and in
doing so, will follow the Principles of Good Enforcement as
detailed in the Enforcement Concordat, which the Council has
formally adopted.
