Community Transport
Schemes vary from those with their own legal identities who have
accessible vehicles and have paid administrators to those that
have volunteers driving their own cars. Everyone using Community
Transport must be a registered member.
Community Transport Schemes receive revenue grant and support in
kind from the council.
DANSA (Formally Dulias Valley Community Transport)
The organisation provides low cost accessible transport for
residents living within Neath Port Talbot Valley areas.
The Scheme runs :
- Local Bus Services.
- Group Hire Minibuses.
- Dial-A-Ride.
- Community Car Service.
- Low Cost Door to Door Service 7 Days a Week.

Neath Port Talbot Community Transport
NPTCT is a non profit making organisation which provides
affordable, accessible transport to voluntary and community groups
in urban areas of Neath Port Talbot.
NPTCT has 8 wheelchair accessible minibuses that carry between
12-16 passengers.

Urban Community Car Scheme (Managed by Neath Port Talbot
Community Transport)
Provides transport for disabled and elderly who are unable to
travel by other means. The scheme has a team of volunteer
drivers who use their own cars to pick up passengers and convey
them to their destination. It also has two wheelchair
accessible people carriers which are available for small
groups and individuals.

Upper Amman Valley Community Car Scheme
Neath Port Talbot Community Transport, currently manage this
community car scheme for elderly and disabled residents of Cwmgors,
Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen, Tairgwaith and Lower Brynamman.
Volunteer drivers use their own cars to transport individuals to
various destinations.

Cars
This is based at the Ystalyfera Development Trust offices and
has:

- 2 cars which are owned by the scheme
