EU Photo Competition Launched!

The search for the best photo of an EU project is now underway as part of the annual ‘Europe in My Region’ photo competition. The competition aims to highlight the impact EU funded projects are having across the European Union and explore what these projects mean to local communities.

All you need to do is take a photo of a project in Wales receiving EU funding and enter the competition through the European Commission’s Facebook page. The photo must have an EU plaque or billboard with the EU flag somewhere in the picture.

There have been many European funded projects across Neath Port Talbot including the new Harbour Way road developments, Margam Country Park Gardens of Excellence and the new Rookie Mountain Bike trail in Afan Forest Park.  For sources of inspiration, take a look at the list of previous European funded projects across Neath Port Talbot.

Three competition winners will receive a two-night trip for two to Brussels during the 13th European Week of Regions and Cities. The event will take place between 12th- 15th October 2015.

The deadline for competition entries is Friday 28 August.
