Green Heroes
The search is on for Wales’ green heroes – ordinary people doing
extraordinary things to make Wales a better place for us all to
live.
People across Wales are being urged to think of local heroes who
deserve recognition for addressing and improving social, economic
or environmental issues in their local communities, and to nominate
them to feature in the Wales Green List 2010.
Nominations can be made online at www.sustainwales.com until 17 September
2010. A panel comprising influential figures from business, media,
the voluntary sector, social enterprise and sustainable development
will pick 52 inspirational people – one for every week of the year
– to feature in the Wales Green List 2010.
