Next meeting

Date: 14th Janaury 2015

Venue: Neath Civic Centre, Neath Committee Rooms A,B and C

The Environmental Health Section will be holding a landlord forum on the 14th January 2015 in the Neath Civic Centre Committee Rooms at 17:30.

One of the presentations will be delivered by a Welsh Government representative on Part 1 of the Housing (Wales) Act which will require the registration and licensing of all private rented properties and landlords in Wales.

The Housing (Wales) Act will have a significant impact on landlords in the Private Rented Sector; therefore this will be a good opportunity for landlords to gain information directly from a Welsh Government representative.

Spaces at the event will be limited; therefore you are required to reserve your space to avoid disappointment.

Our preferred method for you to reserve a space is via email. It would be appreciated if you could email and title the email “Landlord Forum Booking”.

Within the email, please include the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Correspondence address
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Number of properties you own and/or manage
  • State if you act as an agent on behalf of other landlords
  • Addresses of your rented properties

If you are unable to make a reservation via email, please  contact the Environmental Health Section on 01639 685678, stating you would like to reserve a space at the landlord forum.

Please ensure you have the above information to hand, as you will be asked for the information during the telephone conversation.

As the new legislation will impact on all landlords, this forum is open to all landlords who wish to attend; please extend the invite to other landlords, making sure they are aware of how to reserve a space.

I trust the above information is of assistance, and look forward to your attendance at the event.

The Neath Port Talbot Private Rented Landlords forum has been set up to promote good quality private rented accommodation in the Neath Port Talbot area and provide a forum for accredited landlords and the local authority to exchange views on matters that affect the private rented housing sector.
