DigiTV Information Service

What is it?DigiTV Main Menu

The Neath Port Talbot Council digital TV service contains information provided by local services and community organisations.

It is available to households who subscribe to Virgin Media or Sky digital television or through the Nintendo Wii or internet enabled mobile phones.

The service allows people to get local information and use services using their TV and remote control. It is particularly valuable for people who don't have access to a computer and the internet. As well as using the service to find information, residents can also give us feedback and ask questions. This interactivity is an important part of the service. It allows residents to stay at home yet still ask questions, request services or ask for information.

What can you find on the site?

The service offers lots of pages of information from Neath Port Talbot Council and other public sector organisations. Our main content areas are:

What's happened so far?

The service launched on Thursday April 1st 2010 at 9am. We will be working with partners over the coming months to expand the service in the future and are hoping to include such things as GP appointment bookings, a prescription ordering service, reserving library books and discussion forums. If you have any suggestions for new services, please let us know by using our contact form.
