Asset Management Plan 2011-16
This Plan sets out the Council’s proposals for the effective use
of its property assets to support the delivery of quality public
services and major regeneration initiatives.
The document represents a commitment to adopt a genuinely
strategic approach to the consideration of our property and
accommodation requirements
The Council is proud of its past successes in delivering
innovative asset management solutions and in supporting wide
ranging regeneration initiatives.
However, the difficult financial challenge facing all public
organisations at both a local and a national level ensures that we
will need to work even harder to ensure that we have a sustainable
portfolio that delivers value for money.
