Tŷ Twyn Teg consists of:
- 52 x 2 bed self-contained flats
- 12 x 2 bed bungalows
- Restaurant serving lunchtime meal 7 days a week
- Winter Garden
- Hairdressing salon and health suite
- Bar area
- Shop
- Activities room
- Sun Terrace (overlooking garden and grounds)
- CCTV security
- Internet and library area
- Each flat is fitted with an automatic washer/ dryer together
with fridge, freezer and dishwasher
What does each flat offer?
Each flat is spaciously designed and tastefully decorated. They
all have:
- Disabled access
- Lockable front door
- Entrance hall
- Lounge/dining room
- Kitchen
- Bathroom with walk in shower
- 1 or 2 double size bedrooms
- Emergency call system / Flat intercom system
- Digital and satellite TV
Addional facilities provided within Ysbryd y Môr and Tŷ Twyn
Teg Extra-Care complexes:
Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council’s in-house
homecare service
will provide personal care support for those tenants assessed as
needing care. Housing support will be provided by
COASTAL Housing Group
Ltd. Support staff are on site 7 days a week, 24 hours a
day and are able to offer the following facilities and
services:
- Laundry (Ysbryd y Môr) - which you may wish to manage yourself
in the tenants laundry room or alternatively this might be done for
you if part of your care plan. Residents at Ty Twyn Teg, have
an automatic washing machine /dryer in their flats, if
support for laundry has been identified as part of your care plan,
your care worker will be able to attend to this for you.
- Catering – the restaurant's where you can purchase lunch are
open daily (except on Bank Holidays). Tickets for lunch, which is
served between 12.30pm and 1.30pm, can be purchased from support
staff at the reception areas. The restaurant is also open
for visitors to purchase meals at any time, but the cost is
slightly higher than those levied on residents..
