Margam Festival of Music and Arts 2009

Leader of the Council, Councillor A.H. ThomasOnce again, I am proud to welcome you to the eighth Margam Festival which is now one of the biggest cultural events in Neath Port Talbot. This year, we are delighted to announce that Corus, who play such an active role in supporting the local community, are our new sponsors.

For 2009, we are continuing with the monthly programme of events throughout July, while adding some new and interesting events for example a Welsh Day at Margam Castle, The Storys at The Princess Royal Theatre, and not forgetting an evening with the Welsh Rugby Legend JPR Williams and the Neath Rugby Coach Rowland Phillips.

With so much to see and do for all the family, why not take the opportunity to experience this wonderful cultural festival, which offers something different for everyone.

I should also like to convey my thanks to the Festival Committee, to Corus and The Wave/Swansea Sound for all their hard work in bringing this year’s programme together.

We are offering a 10% discount on tickets to all employees of Neath Port Talbot Council. (Please note, this does not apply to the events on July 23rd and 30th).

Sponsored by Corus, working in conjunction with The Wave and Swansea Sound.
