And Their Parents/Carers.
Neath Port Talbot provides a comprehensive range of library
services for children and young people through its network of
static and mobile libraries.

It does not cost anything to join the library. Children can join
at any age up to 14 years, after which time they become eligible to
borrow from the adult library.
Eight books can be taken out at any one time. The loan period is
3 weeks although books can be renewed as long as another borrower
does not require them. Children and young people up to the age of
16 are not charged for the late return of books.
Books
There are all kinds of books in the library- from books for
babies up to graphic novels and books for 'teenagers'
Information books are available for loan, which can be on
anything from building your own aquarium to GCSE support
material.
Books such as dictionaries and encyclopaedias are also available
for reference. These books can only be used in the library.
Request

If the item is not in the library, it may be possible to obtain
it from another library. Request forms are available on the counter
and staff are on hand to help with enquiries.

Talbot, Pontardawe, Sandfields and Glynneath Libraries.
