Planning Applications.
Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed
Applications) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2006
These fees are effective from the 1st April 2007.
In any case of doubt the Applicant/Agent is requested to contact
the Planning Department on 01639 -686868 or
planningdc@npt.gov.uk
Typical examples of fee calculations are as follows:
- Detailed application for 4 dwellings (Category 1) = 4 x £316=
£1264;
- Outline application for residential development with a site
area of 0.25 ha (Category 1) = 3 x £316 = £948;
- New shop front (Category 2) = £159;
- Kitchen extension to dwelling house (Category 6) = £159;
- Change of use from a single dwelling house into 4 flats
(Category 10) 3 x £316 = £948.
NOTE: All cheques should crossed and made payable to Neath Port
Talbot County Borough Council. There is no VAT payable on planning
fees. Planning application fees can also be paid
on-line.
