Community Spirit Newspaper
Community Spirit, it is a Neath Port Talbot Council-based
initiative with a difference.
The quarterly newspaper is different to previous productions in
the fact that it has been produced and funded in conjunction with
seven other partners – a move which is unique to council newspapers
throughout Wales.
It’s a positive example of us all working together to
communicate successfully with all the residents throughout Neath
Port Talbot.

The newspaper has also been editionalised; a move which will be
developed further as the paper progresses.
We welcome and value residents’ comments on the newspaper with
regards to format and content. The views will be listened to and,
where appropriate, changes will be made to reflect what our
residents want to read about. We also hope to include a letters
page in future issues.

A total of 62,000 newspapers are being distributed door to door,
while copies have also been sent to libraries, schools, leisure
centres, medical centres, one-stop shops and the general hospital –
plus others.
It is also available in larger print, Braille, CD or tape on
request.
