The Building (Local Authority Charges) Regulations 2010

The local authority is authorised, by means of a charging scheme, to make a charge for or in connection with most of the building control functions carried out by them.

In accordance with the above regulations The Authority gives notice, on this day 12^th June 2012 that it has made a new charging scheme that will come into effect on 1st July 2012.

Also in accordance with the above regulations The Authority gives notice that it has made an amendment to the scheme whereby on or after 1st April 2011, applications submitted for cavity fill works are no longer exempt from fees and a charge is payable on deposit of the application.
