Swansea Bay City Region

Swansea Bay City Region LogoThe Swansea Bay City Region (SBCR) encompasses the Local Authority areas of Neath Port Talbot, Swansea, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.  Created by the Welsh Government in 2013, the SBCR has been designed to create jobs, boost prosperity and encourage inward investment and is run by a Board made up of representatives of the public and private sectors.  More information about the SBCR can be found on the Swansea Bay City Region website (external site).

Regional Learning Partnership

Regional Learning Partnership LogoThe Regional Learning Partnership (RLP) is a partnership bringing education and regeneration partners together to help provide a better future for learners and potential learners across the south west and central Wales region.  It acts as a facilitation body to ensure that publicly-funded learning providers and associated organisations work collaboratively, effectively and efficiently across the areas of education and regeneration to meet the needs of the learners and the regional economy.

Part funded by the Welsh Government, the RLP is made up of key representatives from local government, higher education, further education, the third sector, private sector, Careers Wales and Job Centre Plus.
