Welcome to Hooked on Books

Do you like to try something new and discover new authors? If the answer is yes then the reading group could be just the place to start. Reading Groups are a great way to try out a range of different books and authors and to share your reading experiences with other readers. Your next favourite author may be just around the corner waiting to be discovered...

Looking for a Reading Group?                            

There are currently 10 reading groups which meet at and are run directly by the branch library in Neath Port Talbot. These are at:

Hooked on Books

To enquire about the group and when they meet and how to join please contact the library directly. If you are looking to set up a group then please contact Paul Doyle, Reader Development Officer for the Library Service.

There are a further 10 privately run groups around the county using Hooked on Books. We also serve two Welsh language groups. There are 18 schools reading clubs using Hooked.

Hooked on Books and Hooked on History provides books in sets of 10/12 to groups right across Neath Port Talbot wherever they may be. There are 108 titles to choose from. Below are the titles availbale from Hooked on Books.  

Also we now have a Hooked collection for reading clubs for younger readers 7-14 and a collection for Welsh language readers - Setiau Grwp Darllen
