Commercial waste

Businesses have a legal duty to dispose of waste responsibly. More information can be found on the Duty of Care page. Businesses must use a registered waste carrier to dispose of their waste and have documents to demonstrate the arrangements they have in place for waste disposal.

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is available to offer advice and assistance with the disposal of your waste. We are committed to providing a professional service; allow us to take care of your waste in order that you are free to concentrate your business.

The Council has a range of wheeled bins available for commercial waste collection and recycling. More information can be found under Containers and Prices. Businesses can choose to enter into an agreement with the Council or a private contractor for the collection and disposal of their waste. If you'd like to discuss what services are available to your business, please contact us on 001639 686406.

If your business produces or collects large amounts of garden/tree cutting waste you can recycle it at Briton Ferry Recycling Centre.

The charge is £60.57 per tonne. Payment is made at the weighbridge on site. See our opening hours.
