Mayor of NPT's Armed Forces Festival 2022
October - November 2022
The festival is designed to pay tribute to the Armed Forces and their families in Neath Port Talbot, both the fallen and veterans from the two World Wars and other global conflicts. It also honours those currently serving and their families for the ongoing contribution they make at home and abroad.
Join us to celebrate and commemorate the past and present day contribution of the Armed Forces to our Communities.

Special Guests: Kirsten Orsborn, Kev Johns, Bois Afan Male Voice Choir, Ben James - Bagpiper, NPT Cerdd Youth Brass Band. More information
- Remembrance Day Services Sunday 13 November 2022
Port Talbot - The Mayor, Councillor Robert Wood, will attend at the Cenotaph in the Memorial Park, Taibach for the Remembrance Service and the laying of wreaths. You are invited to join the Mayor at the Cenotaph from 10.30 am and following the Service at the RBL Clubhouse for refreshments.
Neath - The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Chris Williams, will attend a Service in St David’s Church, Neath commencing at 10 am (seated by 9.45 am), followed by the laying of wreaths at the Gnoll Memorial Gates at 11 am. Attendees are asked to make their own way to the Memorial Gates, using pavements and road crossing points.

To meet at the War Memorial on Herbert Street from 10.30 am, Silence at 11 am followed by the laying of wreaths.
