Join us to celebrate and commemorate the past and present day contribution of the Armed Forces to our Communities.
Friday 1 November: Armed Forces Festival Concert
7pm, Princess Royal Theatre, Port Talbot.
With: Neath Singer Kirsten Orsborn, 215 Squadron Air Training Corps Band, The City of Swansea Pipe Band, Cymric Choir and NPT County Youth Choir and NPT County Youth Band. The evening will end with the last post and thousands of falling poppies, the official emblem of remembrance.

Saturday 2 November: Armed Forces Festival
Free Events from 9am-5pm, Aberafan Shopping Centre: Opening of Royal British Legion Garden of Remembrance, Flag Raising Ceremony, Historical Displays, information stands & more. There will be displays, exhibitions and Port Talbot Library’s 1940s Tea Party on Saturday 2 November, which will take place take place indoors this year in the Aberafan Shopping Centre. There will be 'Remembrance' events at Neath, Port Talbot, Pontardawe, and Briton Ferry, to ensure the sacrifices of those who served are never forgotten. New this year will be a display in Neath Civic Centre by Skewen Historical Society. The Society is the focal point for local historical interests and the free display is sure to be interesting and informative.
