Have your say on the Council’s Budget setting process
Faced with a projected budget gap of more than £12 million for 2019/20, the Council is consulting on a set of draft proposals for cuts.
We want to hear what you think of the proposals, how they would affect you if they become a reality and if you have any alternative suggestions for saving money.
It is important to stress that councillors are not being asked for permission to implement any of the proposals at this stage, but to allow officers to investigate these further. This will involve an extensive period of consultation and engagement with a wide range of stakeholders. This feedback will be taken into consideration before any final decisions are made in February next year.
