Craig Gwladus Woods

Craig Gwladus is a delightful combination of thickly wooded slopes, picturesque rocky outcrops, varied wildlife habitats and coal-mining heritage all linked by a network of footpaths.

The park is 1.8km long and 300m at its widest point, but rises 150m (500ft) in height, providing expansive views of the Neath Valley from its south-east facing slopes. There are car parks on site providing easy access and picnic areas.

Generous and caring local people are helping to keep this beautiful park open and thriving. If you would like to help the Friends of Craig Gwladus, please contact Ian Davies, Secretary of the Friends via the Friends’ Facebook page.
