Adult and Children’s Single Point of Contact service
Our Adult and Children’s Single Point of Contact service are open from 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. You can reach us on 01639 686802. We are here to take referrals and give people advice on:
- Safeguarding concerns for vulnerable adults and children due to suspected abuse or neglect
- Support available through Social Services, Health and Housing
- Support available in the community
Emergency Duty Team (EDT)
Our Emergency Duty Team (EDT) is also still available for any out of hours support, which cannot wait until the next working day. They are available from 5:30pm - 01:30am on weekdays and 09:00am - 01:30am on weekends and Bank Holidays. You can reach the team during these hours on: 01639 895455.
Care home visits
Please check directly with the care home for their current visiting policy.
NPT Safe & Well
If you don’t have any friends of family to call on for support with everyday tasks, NPT Safe & Well can connect you with a local volunteer, community group or local service to access support with:
- Food shopping
- Collecting prescription medication
- Running daily errands
- Or arranging for someone to check you are okay

Welfare Rights
Our Welfare Rights Team are still here to offer expert advice and guidance regarding welfare benefit entitlement.
