Help and advice

Below are lots of useful contacts if you need any help and advice. They all provide friendly, helpful and confidential support to children and young people.

Childline is here to help anyone under 19 in the UK with any issue they’re going through. Whether it’s something big or small, their trained counsellors are there to support you.

Childline is free, confidential and available any time, day or night. You can talk to us on the phone, by email or through 1-2-1 counsellor chat. Whatever feels best for you.

18 or under? Free, confidential advice and support whatever your worry,   whenever you need help.

We work for every child and young person in Wales who is under 18, or 25 years old if they’ve been in care. We Advise children, young people and those who care for them if they feel they’ve got nowhere else to go with their problems. We support children and young people to find out about children’s rights.

The National Youth Advocacy Service offers independent professional advocacy to children and young people within Neath Port Talbot and Swansea.  Advocacy is about speaking up for children and young people, making sure that their rights are respected, and their views, wishes and feelings are heard and considered within decision making processes.
