Recruitment for our NPT Safe & Well Volunteer Scheme is now open to people living in Neath Port Talbot.
Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, volunteers have played a key role in helping our most vulnerable residents alongside our NPT Safe & Well initiative. We are now looking to build on our existing bank of volunteers to help those who don’t have the support of friends and family.
We need volunteers to help residents with everyday tasks that they are unable to do themselves.
This could include:
- helping someone with their shopping,
- collecting medical prescriptions from the local pharmacy
- posting mail or walking someone’s dog
- making regular phone calls to check someone is okay.
All volunteers will undergo online training before starting and will be fully supported by our dedicated Volunteer Coordinator.
To apply, complete our online form below.
