THE CONSTRUCTION ROOM
Available for hire as a training venue is the fully
equipped wet and dry construction room, suitable for practical,
hands on courses, ideal for beginners looking to learn home
maintenance skills, experienced people looking to improve their
skills or for those looking for a new career. Courses already
taking place include plastering, DIY, carpentry, bricklaying and
general construction and all take place in a relaxed, friendly
environment with qualified, highly experience tutors. Courses are
on a rolling programme and continue throughout the year.
The venue is suitable for
one day workshops through to courses over several weeks, and costs
include the use of tools and safety equipment.
HAIR AND BEAUTY SALON
Are you
looking to take your first steps in a career in hairdressing,
barbering or beauty treatments? Want to learn how to cut, style,
dry and colour hair? Then come to the centre and find out about
training provided by qualified tutors in a purpose built modern
salon environment, with industry standard equipment. The part time
courses give you an opportunity to study the different aspects of
hairdressing and create a beauty image including make up
application, waxing, facials and manicures in a supportive learning
environment.
Salon space is also
available to rent to professionals on an ad hoc basis – ideal for
mobile hairdressers or business start ups.
SPORTS FACILITIES
The multi
use games area or MUGA is a great way to encourage young
people to play sports in a safe environment. With synthetic turf
for five a side football, the area is also equipped with lines and
markings for basketball, netball and many other sporting
activities, as well as having court lighting available and sports
equipment for hire.
The MUGA is suitable for
hire by schools and community sporting and fitness groups and is
already very popular with the local rugby and football teams, as
well as members of the public and is available for hire all year
round.
TRAINING KITCHEN
The Centre has a
fully-fitted training kitchen, situated on the ground floor. All of
our kitchen fittings are to catering standard, with stainless steel
benches, cupboards and stoves, and is fully compliant with current
Food Hygiene and Health & Safety requirements.
The kitchen is supplied with
everything you would expect in a first class facility, including
utensils, pans, baking utensils, tea-towels and aprons, crockery
and cutlery. Regular cookery courses are already being held and are
proving to be very popular. The kitchen is available for hire to
hold classes or for your own catering on a one off or regular
basis.
MEETING AND CONFERENCE ROOMS
If you need space to hold a meeting,
training session, conference or interview we have a variety of
fully accessible, attractive, functional and spacious rooms
available to hire. The rooms are comfortable and flexible and can
accommodate groups from 2 to 150.
The café at the centre is open all day, where refreshments and
catering can be arranged according to your budget and
requirements.
There is plenty of free parking and late opening hours, with all
of the facilities you would expect to have at a first class venue
including access to free standing screens and projectors, laptop
and ipad hire, 4m roll down projection screen, photocopier, printer
and lots more.
Office Space
Croeserw Community Enterprise Centre understand that start-up
businesses need access to flexible and affordable office
accomodation and services. At CCEC, we are able to provide office
space of various sizes, which is available to hire on an
hourly/daily/weekly/monthly basis. Rental costs are kept low and
include utilities and access to all the other fantastic facilities
the centre has to offer.
Meeting Rooms
If you looking for meeting rooms to hire from one hour upwards,
good pricing and access to some great facilities then the centre
could be the perfect choice. Light and airy rooms with beautiful
views of the valley, all rooms have air conditioning and are an
ideal setting for your training session, meetings or
presentations.
Main Hall
Seating for 150, with a 4m roll down projection screen, portable
stage and top of the range audio equipment, the main hall is an
ideal venue for all your conferencing requirements. The hall can
also be hired for a wide range of events including parties,
conferences, film screenings, exhibitions and traditional community
events such as craft fayres etc.
