Special Species
Hundreds of species have been recorded in NPT. Due to the semi-rural nature of many settlement areas people often come into contact with wildlife. In addition many of our most special species are in places influenced by our ongoing and historical industrial heritage, providing plenty of opportunities to get closer to wildlife.
The Biodiversity team have chosen these as their top 20 special NPT species.
