DPSS273 - Personal Assistant - Neath - 6 Hours a week plus COVER (Ref: V000273)
I am a young man living in the Neath area. I have mild learning difficulties. I am a Type1 Diabetic, but I am also alcohol dependent. A car owner is essential for the role as I need support to access the community for shopping and medical appointments. I will also need support with daily tasks such as the managing of any correspondence arriving at my home and the managing of monies.
A person who:
- Is honest, reliable, and flexible.
- Is supportive, patient, calm and understanding.
- Has a friendly approach with a down to earth attitude and a good sense of humour.
- Is confident about working alone but who can also work as part of a team.
- Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
- Is medication trained to at least a level B or be prepared to work towards this before commencing role.
