I am a gentleman in my 70s living in the Cimla area. I have an acquired brain injury which affects my memory and concentration.
I struggle to retain information and have to be repeatedly reminded and prompted.
I am an active man and enjoy going out and about in the community, eating out and walking.
I am able to get home independently but do have a tracking device so I can be found if I’m late home.
I am very sociable and enjoy attending social groups.
· Taking me out to activities I enjoy
· Supporting me to access the gym or to go walking
· Facilitating social activities such as going to the pub and eating out.
· Some prompting with personal care
· Some support with getting ready to go out
· Helping me stay safe in the community
· Any other reasonable duties.
Hours of Work:
5 hours a week.
Hours to be worked over 2 days a week, exact days to be confirmed at interview but one is likely to be a Sunday.
Hours may vary and additional cover hours may be offered from time to time.
