- Planning the best use of a direct payment
- Advertising vacancies to potential PAs
- Arranging interviews
- Checking references
- Carry out recommended Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check
- Advice on becoming an employer e.g. insurances, payroll options, tax issues, employment law
