I only have one small item, will you take that?

Yes, we will collect small items. The £20.50 charge is the same.

When do you collect items?

When you book online, you will be offered a selection of dates on which the collection can be made in your area.

What time are the collections?

Collections start at 6am and go on until around 3:30pm, so we request that you put your items out for collection the night before.

Where are the items picked up from?

This is a kerbside collection so in most cases the items should be left where your rubbish is normally picked up from. However, if you present your waste in a rear lane then bulky items must be presented at the front of the property. This is because the vehicle may be too big to access the rear lane.

What do I do if I’m unable to put items out on the kerbside?

Please make the Customer Services team aware of your circumstances (by calling us on 01639 686868) and an assessment will be made of the situation.

If I put the items on the kerbside it will block the pavement (or there is no pavement), what should I do?

The items can be left at the edge of the property boundary such as the end of the drive or just inside the garden, but this must be stated at the time of booking.

Can I cancel the collection once it's paid for?

You can cancel the collection and obtain a full refund as long as you inform us prior to the day of your collection date.  You will need to telephone us on 01639 686868 to cancel the collection and obtain a refund, as we are unable to offer this service online at this time.

What can I do with items that you won’t collect?

You can dispose of items at any of the Household Waste & Recycling Centres.

I’m clearing out my house so can I use this service?

We operate a fair use policy and we will only pick up a limited number of items per collection. As we don’t offer a house clearance service you will need to arrange disposal of the items yourself.

What happens to the items that you collect?

Items are recycled/reused where possible.

The items I have are in excellent condition, do they have to be destroyed?

If the items are in good condition there are a number of charities who may be interested in taking the items to give to families in need. Our charity partner is the Enfys Foundation who can be contacted on 0845 009 4646. You can also donate to our Reuse Shop, located in the Briton Ferry Recycling Centre.

Can I put out extra items after i've booked some items in?

To make any changes to your collection, please phone customer services (01639) 686868 at least 48 hours before collection day. Please note we operate a fair use policy and we will only pick up a limited number of items per collection.
