Neath Port Talbot Council has successfully prosecuted two people for illegally dumping waste following investigations of waste deposited on public land.

    More than 5000 items of bulky waste were collected by Neath Port Talbot Council in the last three months. Many of these were white goods which would have been dumped years ago, but are now recycled. Residents disposed of 385 fridges and freezers, 96 vacuum cleaners, 78 washing machines and 63 cookers amongst a host of other items as interest in the bulky collection service has grown.
