UNCRC

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is an international agreement that protects the human rights of children and young people under the age of 18. The UNCRC is a list of rights that children and young people are entitled to and explain how children should be treated.

Play (Article 31)

Your right to relax and play.

Voice (Article 12)

Your right to say what you think should happen and be listened to.

Learn (Article 28)

Your right to learn and go to school.

Healthy life (Article 6)

You have the right to life and to grow up to be healthy.

Religion (Article 14)

Your right to follow your own religion.

Protected (Article 36)

You should be protected from doing things that harm you.

Privacy (Article 16)

Your right to have privacy.

Safe (Article 11)

Your right not to be taken out of the country illegally.
