Toy Library

The toy library is jointly operated by ELRS and Neath Port Talbot Libraries, and is available to schools, registered childcare providers in Neath Port Talbot County Borough – Playgroups (Welsh and English), Parent & Toddler Groups, After School Clubs, Childminders, Foster Carers and Partner Agencies.

The aim of the Toy Library is to provide a FREE toy loan facility to enable children to have access to stimulating play which will enhance all aspects of their development.
A recent evaluation of the service stated:
“…… I feel I should commend the helpfulness and flexibility of the staff. All are knowledgeable, considerate and approachable in delivering a key service to enhance play opportunities throughout Neath Port Talbot.”

Schools, playgroups, parent and toddler groups and Out of School Clubs can borrow 4 toys. Childminders can borrow 2 toys. However, more toys can be borrowed at the discretion of the Toy Library Staff.
