LDP Annual Monitoring
The Authority is required to produce an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) on its LDP. The AMR will identify any policy that is not being implemented in the anticipated manner.
The AMR will provide an assessment of whether the underlying LDP strategy remains sound, the impact of policies at the local and wider level and whether policies and related targets have been met or progress is being made towards meeting them.
The AMR will be useful in keeping everyone, including local Councillors, the wider community and business groups, informed of Development Plan issues facing the area.
The AMR will need to be submitted to the Welsh Government by the 31st October each year following LDP adoption, with the Council required to carry out a review of the whole Plan every four years.
