  • DPSS691 - Personal Assistant - 3 hours per week - Neath

    I am a happy, friendly energetic 14 year old boy living within the Neath area. I have ASD/ADHD. My diagnosis can at times cause depression and anxiety. I have an interest with Birds and love bird documentaries, I enjoy learning anything about birds.  I enjoy football and having a 1:1 kick about in cwrtherbert. I enjoy bowling and going to walk around the Gnoll park and ponds.

    I require a Personal Assistant to support me for 3 hours per week, on a Saturday or Sunday. I am flexible with days and times. I need a personal assistant to support me within the community to further develop my socialisation skills. It would be advantageous for the personal assistant to have experience of supporting a young person with learning difficulties and ASD/ADHA.

  • DPSS701 - Personal Assistant - 3 hours per week - Margam

    I am a 66 year old lady living in the Margam area of Port Talbot. I suffer with COPD and mobility issues. I really like Elvis Presley, True Crime, my dog (who is a lurcher) and my two cats.  

    I am looking for a PA to support me to go shopping once a week to shops of my choice.

    3 hours per week (over one day). I am flexible on days and times for the right PA and this can be discussed during interview. 

    Hours between 12-3pm.

  • DPSS702 - Personal Assistant - 6 hours per week - Bryncoch

    I am an 83 year old lady living in the Bryncoch area of Neath. I suffer with Parkinson’s disease, a visual and hearing impairment, anxiety and I do panic sometimes. I enjoy watching country file and farming programmes and I love to talk to people. I need a PA to keep me company and support me in going out in to the community as I am unable to do this myself. 

    6 hours per week – weekend work, split over two days (Saturday or a Sunday and one week day (however can be discussed during interview). Occasionally 6 hours to be completed over two week days. 

  • DPSS697 - Personal Assistant - 4 hours per week - Port Talbot

    I am a 14 year old year girl living in central Port Talbot. I have a fun and cheeky character. I like banter and I am very chatty. I have Autism, ADHD and Oppositional Defiance Disorder. I enjoy playing board games and doing arts and crafts. I also enjoy going bowling and going to the cinema, playing crazy golf and going swimming. I am looking for a FEMALE PA to help me get out and do the things I enjoy, and also with activities at home.

    4 hours a week to be used in one block. The day is flexible and will be after 4pm. 

    8 hours per week during school holidays to be used flexibly over 1 or 2 days.

  • DPSS474 - Personal Assistant - Port Talbot - 21 Hours Per week

    I am a teenage girl living in the Cwmavon area of Port Talbot with my family and pets. I have cerebral palsy, autism and learning difficulties which all affect my mobility. I am a wheelchair user and I am non-verbal. I can communicate what I want but you will have to learn how I express myself. I love being outside, Trampolining, swimming, playing on the swings and listening to music. I also like going to theme parks, taking part in gymnastics and dance classes and visiting zoos. When I’m not being a thrill seeker I enjoy watching telly and films. I am outgoing and fun and enjoy the time I spend out with my PA. I’m looking for a PA who is happy to take me out in all weathers to different activities and who is happy to travel a bit further afield during school holidays so we can have a full day out.   

    21 hours per week

    Hours will mainly be worked evenings and weekends throughout the week. Hours can be flexible and will be agreed with you in advance.

    During school holidays hours may change to allow for a full   day of support.

    Can be split between 2 PA's with 10.5 each per week.

     

  • DPSS693 - Personal Assistant - Lower Brynamman

    I am a 49 year old man living within the lower Brynamman area of Ammanford. I enjoy watching TV and I am a Liverpool supporter. I would love to visit Liverpool one day to watch a match. I don’t go out within the community at present due to my health needs, I used to be very outgoing however due to my MS which has a significant impact on my day to day life, therefore I have not been as outgoing and able to meet my personal outcomes as independently. I understand support is required due to physical limitations to maintain safety and improve health and wellbeing. My mum is my primary support.

    3 hours per week.

    Monday 6-7pm 

    Wednesday 6-7pm

    Friday 6-7pm

     

  • DPSS612 - Personal Assistant - 5 hours per week - Sandfields

    I am an 11 year old boy living in the Sandfields area. I like to hold hands and I am very chatty. I have Autism, a learning disability, challenging behaviour although this is rare and Hypermobility which causes me joint pain. I have Asthma but this is well controlled. I am able to go to the toilet by myself, but the PA will need to be very responsive when I say I need to go, as I may not give much warning.

    I am very energetic and always on the go. I really enjoy photography and I have my own camera. I am very interested in cars, especially Tesla’s and Skoda’s, and I like going round car garages to see the cars. I like technology and gadgets. I am very scared of dogs, and most animals, so the PA will need to be mindful of this when taking me to public places.

    I enjoy playing football on a Saturday morning, going swimming, going to play areas and for walks. I enjoy having a chat. I would like to have a go at Forest Activities and doing some woodwork.

    5 hours across two days on a Monday evening from 5:30pm – 7:45pm and Saturday morning from 09:00am – 11:00am.

  • DPSS698 - Personal Assistant - 3 hours per week term time / 6 hours per week non term time - Neath

    I am a young lady who has autism, I can communicate using a combination of BSL and speaking. I am looking for a Personal Assistant who can support in promotion of my independent skills and socialisation. I like a variety of activities such as going to the beach, I enjoy shopping listening to music and has an interest in radio stations, arts and crafts and baking. I also enjoy walks around the Gnoll Park. I would like to be picked up from my local college within Neath at 14:50 or from my home within Neath at 4pm. I am looking for A Personal Assistant who will provide reassurance and support for me whilst I am in the community. I am looking for Personal Assistant to support me as follows; Term time Wednesday - 4-7pm (3 hours) Non term time (This can be more flexible & split if needed) Wednesday - 10-3pm (6 hours)

    3 hours per week term time , 6 hours per week non term time.

                           

  • DPSS572 - Personal Assistant - Port Talbot - 8 hours

    I am a 16-year-old boy living in Port Talbot. I have a learning disability, Autism, ADHD and dyspraxia but I’m also just a regular kid! I have a happy outlook on life and I am great company. I have a lovely sense of humour and I like to make people laugh. I love talking about things I’m interested in – mainly football, FIFA 23 and WWE wrestling. I like going to parks and riding in any kind of transport. I like watching YouTube and playing on my PS5 but I need to get out more! I don’t play any sports at the moment but I’m interested in taking up football. I’m looking for a MALE PA to help me explore new interests and develop some of my independent living skills in the community. I need a MALE PA for 8 hours a week and this could be at the weekend and evenings after school.

    CAR DRIVER IS ESSENTIAL

    8 hours a week to be worked on the weekends and after school during the week.

    Some flexability to have the 8 hours on the occasional weekend. 

  • DPSS679 - Personal Assistant - 4 hours per week - Neath

    I am a 25 year old male who lives within the Neath area. I really enjoy my gaming but I also like to get out of the house into the community. I like to play pool, go bowling and I also enjoy the cinema going for a McDonalds and general socialisation within the community

    I can be quiet but when you get to know me and my confidence builds, I am very loving and have a wicked sense of humour. When I trust you l then feel l can strive as a person. I will require support to build my confidence and independence within the home and in the community. I would like to have support with cooking, getting in to routines, supporting me to follow a journey, and managing public transport. I will also require support to help me find ways to problem solve .I need to focus on one thing at a time. Although I can be anxious and find it difficult to talk to new people, I will value the support form a Personal Assistant to help me manage this and grow my confidence building skills.

    4 hours per week. A Monday or a Tuesday to discuss at interview 12 to 4pm
