DPSS577 - COVER Personal Assistant - Glyncorrwg - Cover for October

I am a 49 year old lady living in Glyncorrwg. I am very close with my family. I am outgoing and have a bubbly personality.

I have a mild learning disability and an anxiety disorder. I might feel very sad and upset and this might make me behave in a different way. I am a steady on my feet but I am very nervous just in case of falling over.

I go to Croes Erw 2 days a week usually Monday and Wednesday and I enjoy the craft activities.

I like to look around shops and I like to garden.  I have pots outside my flat and I like to look after them and sit outside with my music on.  I like to have my music loud and I like all sorts of pop music.

I am looking for a COVER PA for 2 weeks to support me to go out shopping and to go for coffee. I get a bit nervous when I'm out due to my social anxieties. The PA would also support me with cooking and some light domestic tasks.

4 hours per day to be used on the following dates:

October – Tues 28th, Thurs 30th and Fri 31st

November – Tues 04th, Thurs 06th and Fri 07th

Times are flexible.

DPSS673 - Personal Assistant - 4 hours per week - Baglan

I am a 16 year old male living in Baglan.  I enjoy going out and socialising and have a lot of varied interests.  I enjoy watching live music bands, going to the gym, pub quizzes, swimming, judo, going to the cinema and would like to try mountain biking.  I have ADHD and autism and I am generally very chatty.

4 hours for 2 days a week. Flexible with days

DPSS677 - Personal Assistant - 6 hours per week - Cwmllynfell

I am a 6 year old boy who lives within the Cwmllynfell area. I love the outdoors and enjoy soft play areas.   I really enjoy going to play zone and the park.

I am very energetic, have a bubbly personality and I am described as a little character. I am nonverbal however I use body language and PEX to communicate.

At times I can portray behaviours of distress, and I have been diagnosed with autism.

I am looking for a 2 personal assistants as I require 2:1 support and this would be to pick me up after school for 3 hours, to help support me within accessing my chosen activities within the community. The pickup is at 3pm and drop me home by 6pm. I will also need support within the school holidays to be able to maintain a routine.

6 hours per week. 2 x 3 hours shifts (3pm to 6pm) weekdays to be arranged at interview

DPSS656 - Personal Assistant - 2 hours per week - Neath

I am a young woman in my late 20’s living in central Neath with my brother. I am sociable and I enjoy playing video games as well as Cosplay and enjoy TV programmes such as Dr Who and Star Wars.  I like going out to cafes and to the library.  I have autism and too much sensory overload sometimes makes me anxious whilst out in the community so please be mindful of this.  I love people and I have a keen interest in child development.

2 hours per week preferably on a Sunday but I can be flexible for the right PA, for any weekday evening. We can discuss this during interview. 

DPSS435 - Personal Assistant - 5 hours per week - Port Talbot

I am a highly-functioning 20 year old autistic young man living in the Port Talbot area.  I enjoy Marvel Comics, DC Comics and War Hammer games.  I also enjoy photography.  I like watching Anime, My Hero Academia and Avatar: The Last Airbender programme.  I like going to the cinema, bowling and swimming. 

 

I love Dungeons and Dragons and require someone to take me to a Dungeons and Dragons class based in Swansea once every 2 weeks on a Sunday.

Every other Sunday between 5 – 10pm

DPSS682 - Personal Assistant - 4 hours per week - Neath

I am a 16 year old boy who has autism, I am nonverbal. I am a happy loving person. I love the outdoors, animals, and Quiet spots. Even though I enjoy quiet spots, I still like to socialise within the community and enjoy spending time at Margam Park, the Gnoll country park and I also enjoy swimming.

4 hours per week any week day as flexible. 3 pm local school pick up and 7pm drop off home. One Saturday per month 1pm to 5pm.

DPSS684 - Personal Assistant - 5 hours per week - Briton Ferry

I am a 49 year old lady living in Briton Ferry.  I require support with personal care which includes catheter care, applying creams to my legs, washing, getting dressed and applying leg wraps as I suffer with lymphedema.  I have a condition called cauda equina syndrome which is a spinal cord injury making mobility difficult.  I use 2 crutches, a zimmer frame and awaiting an electric wheelchair.

I am chatty, friendly and have a good sense of humour.  I have 4 children living with me so the household can get hectic!

5 hours per week Monday to Friday at 7 – 8am

DPSS540 - Personal Assistant - Sandfields - 7 hours (per PA)

I am a very happy 9 year old girl living in the Sandfields area of Port Talbot.  My favourite things to do are to go swimming and do painting. I am non-verbal but I understand everything that is said to me and I am non-mobile. I enjoy being outdoors rather than indoors. Being active is something I enjoy as well as doing my favourite activities.  I enjoy my food and have a really good appetite. Peppa pig is my favourite thing to watch before I go to bed. The only thing I don’t like is unexpected noises.  These can upset me.

CAR DRIVER IS ESSENTIAL

7 hours per PA (Double-staffed) – to be used flexibly after school or weekends (Saturday afternoons or Sundays) - we are flexible. 

DPSS690 - Personal Assistant - 3 hours per week - Neath/Llandarcy

I am a 7 year old girl who has autism, I am nonverbal. I am a happy energetic, loving person. I love the outdoors, muddy walks, the beach, and cooking. I would love to visit soft play and gymnastics. I also love water and splash parks.

3 hours per week on a weekend Saturday or Sunday 1pm to 4pm.
