Youth Offending Team
The Neath Port Talbot Youth Offending Team is made up of
representatives from the local authority, Police, Probation
Service, Social Services, Health, Education, Drugs and Alcohol
misuse.
The staff work with young people who are involved in or at risk
of offending.
The team helps young offenders by assessing them to identify
specific problems that make the young person offend as well as
measuring the risk they pose to others. The programmes put in place
address the needs of the young person with the intention of
preventing further offending.
