SBOC British Schools Orienteering Championships & SBOC local event.

Foot orienteering – the British Schools Orienteering Association’s British Championships followed by an SBOC local event. The British Schools Championship will involve some 20- 30 schools, both primary and secondary, from across the country. The event involves the placing of 30 controls (small flags on stakes) in the area with competitors navigating to as many as possible within a defined time of 45 minutes. The highest score with the fastest time is the winner. As soon as possible following the British Schools Championships, SBOC members will compete in a local event using the same controls and the same event format.
