Vacancy Details

Location: Pontardawe
Pay: £13.45
Closing Date: 06 Mai 2028

Description

I'm a lady in my late 60s living near Pontardawe. I live a quiet and gentle life and enjoy reading, meditation, crafting, gardening, being in nature, and birdwatching.

I have several long-term health conditions that affect my balance, immunity, energy, and strength. Despite these challenges, I love life and approach what I can with a sense of humour.

And one final thing: I have a little elderly dog who likes to believe she is in charge of the household. She does enjoy barking at strangers but is much softer than she sounds.

Purpose

Support is needed with some of the practical aspects of daily living, including:

• Meal preparation
• Shopping and errands
• Light housekeeping and keeping my home tidy
• Laundry and changing bed linen
• Occasional support with appointments and outings
• General assistance to help me maintain my independence

Person Type

I am looking for someone who is calm, dependable, emotionally mature, and respectful of a quiet home environment. A mature outlook, good communication skills, kindness, and common sense are very important to me. Previous care experience is welcome but not essential.

If you are interested, I would be pleased to hear from you.

Hours

This is currently a cover PA position with 2 four hour shifts per week, with the possibility of more permanent hours in the future. A car and driving licence are essential.
