Description
I am an elderly lady who lives within the Sandfields are of Port Talbot. I also used to be very independent. I have a good sense of humour and enjoy a good laugh. I love a chat. Unfortunately my mobility has slowed down and I would like a Personal assistant to help support me to access the community for three hours per week. I enjoy going for food, walks along the beach and have Ice cream and go for coffee. I would like to attend afternoon service within my church once a month or attend a church lunch when it starts back up again. I enjoy shopping especially having a look in Marks and Spencer clothes shop.
Purpose
Supporting me to access the community for 6 hours per week. This may also include attending religious events, when they start again.
I also would like to go for a drive in the car and for my PA to support me with shopping.
Due to reduced mobility my PA will need to help me in and out of the car and push me in my wheelchair.
On days that I am unable to go out, I would like my PA to support with light domestic tasks.
Supporting me to attend medical appointments when necessary.

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
