  • DPSS682 - Personal Assistant - 4 hours per week - Neath

    I am a 16 year old boy who has autism, I am nonverbal. I am a happy loving person. I love the outdoors, animals, and Quiet spots. Even though I enjoy quiet spots, I still like to socialise within the community and enjoy spending time at Margam Park, the Gnoll country park and I also enjoy swimming.

    4 hours per week any week day as flexible. 3 pm local school pick up and 7pm drop off home. One Saturday per month 1pm to 5pm.

  • DPSS675 - Personal Assistant - 4 hours per week - Ystalyfera

    I am a 16 year old male living in Ystalyfera.  I have Down’s Syndrome and Global Development Delay and I am very happy, sociable and friendly.

    I enjoy a variety of sports, I would like to play football and I enjoy going for walks, bowling, going to the cinema and eating out in McDonalds.  I would also like to join a gym.

    4 hours on either a Monday or Thursday

  • DPSS684 - Personal Assistant - 5 hours per week - Briton Ferry

    I am a 49 year old lady living in Briton Ferry.  I require support with personal care which includes catheter care, applying creams to my legs, washing, getting dressed and applying leg wraps as I suffer with lymphedema.  I have a condition called cauda equina syndrome which is a spinal cord injury making mobility difficult.  I use 2 crutches, a zimmer frame and awaiting an electric wheelchair.

    I am chatty, friendly and have a good sense of humour.  I have 4 children living with me so the household can get hectic!

    5 hours per week Monday to Friday at 7 – 8am

  • DPSS678 - Personal Assistant - 3 hours per week - Sandfields

    I am an elderly lady who lives within the Sandfields are of Port Talbot. I used to be very active and I enjoyed going to the gym and spending time with friends. I also used to be very independent. I have a good sense of humour and enjoy a good laugh. I love a chat. Unfortunately my mobility has slowed down and I would like a Personal assistant to help support me to access the community for three hours per week. I enjoy going for food, walks along the beach and have Ice cream and go for coffee. I would like to attend afternoon service within my church once a month or attend a church lunch. I enjoy shopping especially having a look in Marks and Spencer clothes shop.

    I will require someone who has patience as my mobility is slower and I use a wheelchair when accessing community.

    I am a lady living in the Skewen area of Neath, I live with my two small dogs.

    I enjoy going out shopping, and I also like to meet up with friends.

    It is also important to me to keep in contact with family.

    I also like to take my dogs out for daily walks.

    I love to read and listen to music also.

    I am a wheelchair user, and I like to have a small team of PAs that assist me with my daily living.

    12 hours per week

    I am a 7 year old girl who has autism, I am nonverbal. I am a happy energetic, loving person. I love the outdoors, muddy walks, the beach, and cooking. I would love to visit soft play and gymnastics. I also love water and splash parks.

    3 hours per week on a weekend Saturday or Sunday 1pm to 4pm.

  • DPSS688 - Personal Assistant - 12 hours per week - Bridgend

    I am a man in my fifties currently in Support Living located in the Bridgend area. I am a diabetic and use a wheelchair due to amputations. I like to go out to places that are familiar to me, where I can see my friends. I enjoy heavy metal music, eating out, shopping, people watching and discussing current affairs. I am looking for a PA to support me within the community to empower my independence further.

    12 hours per week with a possible increase of 21

  • DPSS566 - Personal Assistant - 6 hours - Seven Sisters

    I am a lady in my early 60’s, living in the Seven Sisters area. I am looking for a PA who can pick me up from my home, take me to the gym in Glynneath, and bring me home again. The PA must drive and have use of  a car. Your fuel costs between my home and the gym will be covered at the standard rate of 0.45p per mile.

    6 hours to be used as 2 x 3 hours per week

  • DPSS691 - Personal Assistant - 3 hours per week - Neath

    I am a happy, friendly energetic 14 year old boy living within the Neath area. I have ASD/ADHD. My diagnosis can at times cause depression and anxiety. I have an interest with Birds and love bird documentaries, I enjoy learning anything about birds.  I enjoy football and having a 1:1 kick about in cwrtherbert. I enjoy bowling and going to walk around the Gnoll park and ponds.

    I require a Personal Assistant to support me for 3 hours per week, on a Saturday or Sunday. I am flexible with days and times. I need a personal assistant to support me within the community to further develop my socialisation skills. It would be advantageous for the personal assistant to have experience of supporting a young person with learning difficulties and ASD/ADHA.
