DPSS707 - Personal Assistant - 3 hours - Ystalyfera
I am an 11 year old boy living in Ystalyfera. I have a learning disability and High Functioning Autism. I experience challenging behaviour which can include screaming, hitting, shouting, and using inappropriate language. I can become frustrated and will struggle to regulate my emotions. I am looking for a PA to take me out to the places I enjoy, so my Mum can have a break. I enjoy going to trampoline parks, soft play and kicking a football about in the park. I have no safety awareness and the PA will need to keep eyes on me at all times.
3 hours per week, to be worked as one block after 3:30pm. Days are flexible.

DPSS708 - Personal Assistant - 4 hours - Neath
I am a 64 year old gentleman living in the Neath area with my Brother and Sister-In-Law. I have additional learning needs and a diagnosis of down syndrome. I am a quiet gentleman, but I have dementia and can experience changing moods. I have limited communication and I am hard of hearing. I am looking for a PA to sit with me at home and keep me company, for my family to have a break. I really enjoy colouring and would like the PA to do this with me. I would also like the PA to play Jenga and Snap with me. The PA would need keep me safe by ensuring that I do not leave the home.
4 hours per week.
To be used as a 4 hr block on an evening. Days are flexible

DPSS728 - Personal Assistant - Port Talbot - 4 hours per week
I am a lady in my 60’s living in the Sandfields area of Port Talbot. I enjoy watching TV, but I would like to be able to access the community with my PA, including going out for coffee and for walks. I would also like to be able to visit new places.
4 hours per week, to be discussed during interview.

DPSS713 - Personal Assistant - 8.5 hours - Pontardawe
I am a 19 year old man living in the Pontardawe area. I have a huge interest in online gaming and would like to become a successful live streamer. I previously used to train with the Ospreys for wheelchair rugby. I am looking for a PA to support me to go swimming (including changing), going for food and to access the community so I can meet people of a similar age. The PA will also be required to push my wheelchair, support with transfers and drive my mobility car.
8.5 hours per week to be worked as:
2 x 4hr 15 min sessions (this can be flexible).
Days and times are flexible and to be mutually agreed at interview.

DPSS299 - Personal Assistant - Glynneath - 14 hours per week (job share welcome)
I am a elderly disabled man living in the Glynneath area. I am an easy-going individual. I like TV and my computer.
I am unable to maintain my body temperature and therefore need to be kept warm and I use a coal fire to do this.
I am looking for 2 or more PA’s to support me at home.
DRIVING LICENCE NOT REQUIRED
14 hours over 7 days.
Mon to Sun - 2 hours per day from 10:00 to 11:00 and 14:00 to 15:00 (there is flexibility of 20 mins with the PM call).
Some flexibility will be required as you may be asked to cover from time to time.

DPSS530 - Personal Assistant - Neath- 20 hours (job share welcome)
I am a lady in my 50's and I am a full time wheelchair user. I live in Neath and have two small dogs.
I’m ideally looking for a PA to work 9pm to 9am but can negotiate for one night and other hours to be worked during the day.
I enjoy music, Eastenders and chatting but also like quiet time alone. Driving license not essential, experience in care preferred but happy to work towards training an inexperienced PA.36 hours per week -
9PM - 9AM, 3 nights a week.

DPSS340 - Personal Assistant - 5 hrs per week - Rhyd-Y-Fro
I’m a lady in my 30s living in quite a rural area of Pontardawe. My home is approximately 5 miles from Pontardawe cross and is accessed via a country lane. I live with my mum, pet dogs and cats. I am a wheelchair user when out and about. I have epilepsy and experience seizures daily. I am a classically trained singer and I love music, nature, photography art and attending choirs and social groups. I also help to run a social group. I am also a Welsh speaker.
CAR DRIVER IS ESSENTIAL
5 hours per week – possibly increasing to more.
Hours to be used in the evenings or on the weekends as 2.5 hours each. Days and times flexible.

DPSS270 - Personal Assistant - Baglan - 9 hours per week
I am a young man living in the Baglan area of Port Talbot. I really enjoy travelling by bus and I love going to visit Swansea Bus Museum. I enjoy bowling and going to the Cinema; and I enjoy being out and about and busy. For long distances I may need to use my wheelchair but I am fine getting around shorter distances.
I can be shy to start off with but I am generally a really laid back person and I enjoy being active. Because I am shy, my communication can be slow until I start feeling comfortable with you. I always like to look on the bright side of life and am told that I have a sunny disposition.
9 hours a week.
5 hours on a Monday 9AM - 2PM.
Weekend 4 hours to be discussed during interview.

DPSS716 - Personal Assistant - 3 hours - Glynneath
I’m a 12 year old boy living in the Glynneath area. I’m a very busy boy with a cheeky smile and a wicked little laugh. I have Down’s syndrome and severe learning difficulties. I am still in nappies. I have a bone conductor hearing aid as I have glue ear. I’m non verbal and a PA that can do sign along would be beneficial (but not essential). I like going out to sensory play areas I also enjoy going swimming. I’m looking for a P.A for two sessions a week on Tuesday/ Friday/Sat to take me out to the places I enjoy.
3 hours per week to be worked as 2 x 1 ½ hours on a Tues, Fri or Saturday. Days and times can be flexible.

DPSS717 - Personal Assistant - 5.5 hours - Margam
I am a gentle and friendly man with a mild to moderate learning disability which affects my understanding of the world around me. This year I will be turning 60. For many years I lived in an adult family placement, but I have now moved to a supported living home where I am very happy and settled. I maintain contact each week with my mother who resides in residential care home. I have many likes, including going to the pub, playing skittles, using public transport and watching and purchasing various DVDs. I have good verbal skills and like chatting to a variety of people.
5.5 hours on a Friday but the day can be flexible.
