Deputy Team Manager - Neath Community Children's Team
Are you ready to take the next step in your social work career? We&©re looking for a dynamic and committed Deputy Team Manager to help lead our Neath Community Children&©s Team with energy, compassion, and purpose.
In this pivotal role, you&©ll support the Team Manager in delivering a high-quality, responsive service to children and families across Neath. You&©ll work with children in need of care and support, those in need of protection, and looked-after children$ûensuring that every child receives the best possible outcomes in line with current legislation, policy, and best practice.
Some of What You&©ll Be Doing
- Providing professional leadership and guidance to Social Workers and Support Workers.
- Managing a small caseload of complex cases to stay connected to frontline practice.
- Supporting the development and delivery of our service to maintain excellence.
- Helping shape a culture of learning, support, and continuous improvement.

What You&©ll Need
- A recognised Social Work qualification.
- Registration with Social Care Wales.
- At least three years&© post-qualifying experience working with children and young people.
