Hours: 12 hours per week autumn winter season (3 days per week, 4 hours per day). 15 Hours Per week Spring summer Season (3 days per week, 5 hours per day). 21 hours per week during School holidays (3 days per week, 7 hours per day).

We are currently seeking an individual to join our team as a Cleaner.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within one of Neath Port Talbots leading tourist attractions. Margam Park has recently been voted within the top ten most popular parks and green spaces in Britain.

As a cleaner, you will be required to carry out day to day cleaning within the park, ensuring that the toilets, offices and other areas are kept in a clean and hygienic condition in accordance with agreed schedules and quality standards.

Specific duties will include washing, cleaning, vacuum cleaning, sweeping, emptying bins, polishing and dusting (which will include public toilets throughout the park).

The successful candidate will also be required to use appropriate electrical powered equipment, assist with litter picking and disposal of refuse and to ensure chemicals are stored correctly ensuring that only approved chemicals are used at all times and adequate stock levels are maintained.

have excellent communication skills, have the ability to work alone and on own initiative, have a full driving licence and a flexible approach to work as this post requires unsocial working hours to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays?

There are no formal qualifications required for this role, as full training will be provided however applicants are required to have sound knowledge of COSHH.
