We will ask what format (books/spoken word) and genre you'd like

  • Book Your Timeslot
We will give you a convenient time slot for you to collect your items from the nearest participating library.

  • Collect Your Books
They’ll be ready for you to collect in a new paper carrier bag. All items borrowed from our libraries will have been quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours and will be safe to use.

  • Service opening hours, Monday to Friday 10am - 12:30 and 1:30 - 4:00, Saturday 10am – 12:30.

DVDs and CDs cannot be borrowed at the present time but library members can borrow up to 10 items (if you require more than please ask a member of staff when you call). The loan period has been extended to 6 weeks.

Booking a time slot is essential in order that the library service can maintain social distancing for customers. If you are unable to pick up your books at your allotted time or miss your slot, please contact the library by phone or email and an alternative time slot will be allocated.

The remainder of Neath Port Talbot’s branch libraries will reopen in phases during the next few months, initially providing a call and collect service.

Those who are currently shielding and can’t get to any library should contact library HQ by telephoning 01639 899829 or email npt.libhq@npt.gov.uk for further information on home delivery.

Please note: During this first phase borrowers can only arrive at the library with a timeslot for call and collect, there are no other facilities or sessions being offered. Please only come if you have a click and collect timeslot, or are returning books.
