What Our Regulators Said
Annual Improvement Report
Annual Improvement Report - The Local Government (Wales) Measure 2009 requires the Auditor General to produce an Annual Improvement Report for each local authority in Wales. The report covers 2 assessments: the first is the Council’s delivery and evaluation of services based on the Annual Report. The second is how well the Council is planning for improvement in delivering its services based on the Corporate Improvement Plan.
Compliance Certificate (Improvement Assessment Letter replacement) - Also under the Measure, the Auditor General is required to report on his audit and assessment work in relation to whether the Council has discharged its statutory duties in respect of improvement planning and its assessment of performance based on the Council’s Corporate Improvement Plan.
