Description

I am a bubbly lady with a good sense of humour, I love to have a good chat and a good laugh. I am looking for a PA who would accompany me to socialise within the community, I enjoy going shopping and for meals out. Also help with light duties within the home. I am quite flexible with days, however I cannot commit to a Tuesday. I do have a walking aid which I use when I am out and about.

Purpose

Accompanying me within the community to socialise and possibly light duties around the home.

Tasks

A person who:

  • Someone respectful who will help me to be independent
  • Someone discrete and who will respect my confidentiality
  • Car driver preferred but not essential
  • Will make suggestions rather than tell me what to do
  • Is trustworthy, reliable and punctual
  • Is caring, patient and understanding
  • Is friendly and chatty
  • Respects my privacy and confidentiality
  • Will treat me with dignity and respect

Hours

3 hours per week and I am flexible with days. This can be discussed during interview.

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.

Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.

You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.

You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
