This FREE training will occur every Tuesday in Treherbert (RCT) starting on 9th April for 7 sessions to 21st May 2024. Workshops run from 10:00 - 14:30 and attendance for the full course is expected. The woodworking skills taught will focus on bench creation for Lost Peatlands footpaths, however there will be an opportunity to learn about outdoor carpentry in general (the training will take place in a timber frame roundhouse!). Once the benches are created, there will be an opportunity to get out into the local area to install what you've created. The Agored Qualification is formally recognised nationwide and will not only improve your CV, but will also allow you to meet like minded folk and contribute to the local community. Spaces are limited so attendance each week is required. If you need assistance getting to site, expenses may be available for public transport upon request (please contact the Team to discuss).
